Congratulations to the whole team of the film for the prizes won at the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur with the movie Banel & Adama!
The film was awarded the Prix Découverte and the Prix Agnès in the 1st Work competition category. Cinematographer Amine Berrada, AFC, filmed the passionate love shared between Banel and Adama, two individuals whose lives are confined to the embrace of a distant village nestled within Senegal’s northern region. Directed by Ramata-Toulaye Sy and produced by Maud Leclair-Névé, Éric Névé (La Chauve-Souris), and Margaux Juvénal (Take Shelter).
