The screenings of Banel & Adama will take place on Saturday November 4 at 7:30 pm and on Tuesday November 7 at 4:00 pm at Les Cinémas du Grütli – Simon in Geneva (Switzerland) as part of its selection at the Geneva International Film Festival. The film is in competition in the Feature International category. The cinematographer Amine Berrada, AFC filmed the passionate love shared between Banel and Adama, two individuals whose lives are confined to the embrace of a distant village nestled within Senegal’s northern region. The movie was directed by Ramata-Toulaye Sy, produced by Maud Leclair-Névé, Éric Névé (La Chauve-Souris), and Margaux Juvénal (Take Shelter). Starring Khady Mane and Mamadou Diallo.
