The feature film Banel & Adama has been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival 2023 in the Centrepiece category. The lyrical visuals were expertly captured through the lens of photography director Amine Berrada, AFC. Banel and Adama share a deep and passionate love, their world limited to the confines of a distant village nestled in the northern expanse of Senegal. Directed by Ramata-Toulaye Sy, produced by Maud Leclair-Névé, Éric Névé (La Chauve-Souris) and Margaux Juvénal (Take Shelter).
