The feature film Banel & Adama won the Student Jury Prize and the Pass Culture Jury Prize at the Nouvelles Vagues festival in Biarritz. The pure and poetic images were shot by photography director Amine Berrada. Banel and Adama are in love. All they know of the world is their remote village in northern Senegal. The Ramata-Toulaye Sy‘s first film is produced by Maud Leclair-Névé, Éric Névé (La Chauve-Souris) and Margaux Juvénal (Take Shelter). The movie was also selected in the “Premier rendez-vous” section at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival.
