Hadrien Vedel is a costume designer based in Paris. She began her career alongside her mother, who is also a costume designer. Starting in Paris, she worked as an assistant at the Cartier Foundation before moving on to Le Vestiaire Rental House.
Her journey took her to Lithuania in 2016, where she collaborated with designer Juozas Valenta on compelling commercials for renowned brands such as COOP, Nina, and Lendo. In 2018, she made her foray into major film productions. Notably, Flore achieved the prestigious Amanda Award in Norway for Best Costume Design in 2022 for the film Cinderella.


Flore designed costumes for the early 20th century in Hilma, a Swedish film about abstract painter Hilma af Klint, directed by Lasse Hallström and produced by Viaplay Studios and Nordic Entertainment Group.

 

In Cinderella, a Norwegian film directed by Cecilie Mosli and produced by Storm Films and Friland Produksjon, Flore undertakes the role of costume designer for this fairy tale.

In LX 2048, directed by Guy Moshe and produced by Chimera Pictures, Lithuanica Films, and Outta The Bloc, Flore showed that her expertise in costume design is not restrained to period films. This American-Lithuanian science fiction film showcased a different facet of her talent and capabilities in this particular genre.

Flore has collaborated with many brands as a costume designer. She collaborated with Cartier twice. Cartier Grain De Café, directed by Alex Prager and produced by Psycho, was shortlisted at the 2023 Ciclope Festival in the Styling & Costume Design category.
The elegant and vintage costumes were designed by her, and the styling for Elle Fanning was done by Samantha McMillen.

In Cetelem Frozen, directed by Terri Timely and produced by Big Productions, Flore's work is  fantastically surrealistic.

E.Leclerc Culture, directed by Didier Barcelo and produced by Henry, is another commercial showcasing her work. The diversity in her creations is particularly remarkable.

In the music video Guess Again by Plan B, directed by Andrew Donoho and produced by Diktator, Flore created costumes for a dystopian future.

Flore Vauvillé, a skilled costume designer passionate about cinema, delves into historical costume research and reconstruction, exploring themes like fairy tales and futurism. Aspiring to design for opera and ballet, her childhood in the world of costumes provides her with a wealth of knowledge for a comprehensive and practical approach to projects.
She just finished the French movie Jane Austen A Gâché Ma Vie,  directed by Laura Piani. This film marks her continued work as a costume designer in France and is set to be released in 2024.
