Hadrien Vedel is a French cinematographer. Throughout his professional journey, he refined his skills through training, drawing inspiration from both his own experiences and those of other directors of photography. For the past three years, Hadrien has dedicated himself to various short films, showcasing a strong focus on fiction. He has actively contributed to numerous music videos, particularly for French artists. Recently, Hadrien has expanded his expertise into the realm of advertising, collaborating with prestigious brands such as Lacoste, Dior or Louis Vuitton.
In The Sun Never Sets On Me, Hadrien's images narrate the story of a tattoo artist whose life was shattered by a burnout, compounded by the loss of his unborn daughter. This poignant short film illustrates how the artist channelled his grief into inspirational art. Directed by Doug Guillot and produced by David & Douglas and NOWNESS, The Sun Never Sets On Me captures a journey of resilience and creative transformation.

In Le Reste N’a Pas D’importance, Hadrien's handheld camera follows the story of Cheun, star of the neighborhood, yellow bib and stop sign in hand, managing traffic. One day, his poetic ballet comes to an abrupt halt, and gloom takes over from the extraordinary. Post-production of the short film has just been completed. It was directed by Romain Dumont and produced by Ad Vitam court.

In the polar Karma Police directed by Julien Paolini and produced by La Réserve and Cousines et dépendances, Hadrien's somber visuals mirror the personalities of the main character, worn down by a sense of guilt. The polar was awarded the Grand Prix du Polar at the Cognac Film Festival and will be released in 2024.

Sous Le Gel De Glasgow, directed by Léo Devienne and produced by Zayan Film and Dirty Tools, displays the story of an amnesic character. Between dream and reality, the images of Hadrien capture the traumas of the protagonist, lost in a déjà-vu sensations and inexplicable losses.

Rue du Lac, a short film selected for the Tous Courts d'Aix-en-Provence 2019, Mulhouse Tous Courts 2020 and Ichalkaranji International short film festival (India) 2020, offers a dreamlike stroll through the French countryside between dawn and twilight. The short film was produced by Bande Magnétique and directed by Julien Thiverny.

The feature documentary La Relève, directed by Hugo Sobelman and produced by Gogogo Films, Petit À Petit and Mauvaise Herbe, is set in the city Belleville. It paints the portrait of young people wondering what their place is in France, a country that can't help but look at them sideways. The documentary is currently in post-production and is set to be released in 2024.

Hadrien collaborated with the French directors MaudChalard and TheoGosselin for the commercial Obvious Campaign 23, produced by LGA Management. He portrayed the tranquil existence of a couple isolated from the outside world, bathed in the warmth of the sunset.

He lately worked on Jeff Mills’s Mind Power Mind Control, which explores in black and white the limits of reality. Produced by Hiersoir and directed by Manuel Obadia Wills, the images tease an album that makes the listener enter a labyrinth of their own mind.
