Philip Lozano is a French director of photography. Fervent cinema lover since his childhood, he started working in the industry at 20 years old. He joined in 2020 the AFC, the French Society of Cinematographers. He has worked on many projects including feature films, commercials, documentaries and music videos.
His most recent work made him use his talent for the horror genre. In Cobweb(La Maison du Mal), which came out this Wednesday, on the 19th of July 2023 in France, Philip collaborates with Samuel Bodin on his first feature film. The film is produced by Lionsgate.

Philip has been collaborating with Samuel Bodin for ten years, they also worked together on many series: Marianne (2019), a Netflix horror show (produced by Empreinte Digitale et Federation Entertainment), Tankseason 1 and season 2, and Lazy Company (which are both produced by Empreinte Digitale).
The show Tank won the prize for best fiction web series in the Festival de La Fiction TV de la Rochelle in 2016. Lazy Company won the prize for best TV series at Luchon in 2013 with the first season and the prize for best fiction web series in the Festival de la Rochelle in 2015 for the second season.
They worked recently on the series Furies (episode 5 and 7) coming out on Netflix soon, starring Marina Foïs, Lina El Arabi and Matthieu Kassovitz, and produced by Empreinte Digital and Warp Films.

Philip brings to life Mexican director Luis Mandoki's vision in his latest film, Presencias,by recreating an eerie and heavy atmosphere throughout the entire film. For this movie, Philip has been nominated for best cinematography at the Mexican Cinema Journalists 2023. Starring Oscar nominee for Best Actress Yalitza Aparicio, Alberto Ammann, and produced by Video Cine.

Philip worked on Cannes Confidential, a thriller series starring Lucie Lucas, Jamie Bamber and French singer Shy'm. The show is produced by Acorn Media Enterprises, TF1, Viaplay and Skyverse Studios and will be released on TF1 in September.

From horror to comedy, Philip explores a vast range of genres. In Darknet-sur-Mer, he worked with the duo of French directors Rémy Four and Julien War,starring Artus, Joséphine Draï and Théo Fernandez, and produced by White Lions Films. The show won the Prix des Collégiens de Charente-Maritime at Le Festival de la Fiction TV de La Rochelle in 2022.

Another talented duo Philip Lozano has collaborated with on mutliple projects is Seth Ickerman. He helped the directors create an atypical aesthetic in the sci-fi medium-length film, Blood Machines. Produced by Logical Pictures.
