Pierre Aïm has been on Operandi's roster since the agency's beginnings. His savoir-faire made of him a recognized cinematographer around the world.
His latest film, Boy From Heaven (La Conspiration Du Caire), directed by Tarik Saleh, came out Wednesday October 26th. The Swedish film won the best screenplay award at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 and was nominated in numerous other festivals. It is produced by Atmo and Memento, and distributed in France by Memento. Starring Tawfeek Barhom and Fares Fares.

His next release will be the Moroccan road-movie Queens (Reines), which premiered at the Venice Film Festival last month.
It is directed by Yasmine Benkiran, produced by Petit Film and Deuxième Ligne Film, and will be distributed by Kinology. Starring Nisrin Erred, Nisrine Benchara and Rayhan Guaran.

Pierre Aïm works alongside both young and experienced directors. Regardless of the genre, he knows how to collaborate with the director to bring his/her vision to life, without losing his own style.
He shot multiple films with Samuel Benchetrit, including Cette Musique Ne Joue Pour Personne, which was nominated in Cannes Film Festival 2021 in the Cannes Première Category.

At Camerimage 2020, Sympathy For The Devil (Sympathie Pour Le Diable) was nominated in the "First Film for a Director" category.

Les Chatouilles by Andrea Bescond and Eric Metayer was nominated in the category Un Certain Regard at Cannes in 2018, and proceeded to win multiple awards, including one at the Deauville American Film Festival and two César Awards.

Pierre was rewarded for his work with a Golden Frog at Camerimage for La Haine directed by Mathieu Kassovitz and a Lumières award for Best Cinematography for Polisse by Maïwenn.
Pierre Aïm's films were nominated for the César award for best Cinematography multiple times as well.
In 2021, Pierre was decorated as an Officer of Arts and Letters.

Recently, Pierre worked on the TV series Bendo created and directed by Nawell Madani. It is currently in post-production and will be released on Netlix in 2023. It is produced by Elephant Story and Black Barbie.
Pierre also shot Victoria Bedos' first feature film called Léo Et Moi, produced by Lionceau Films and will be distributed in France by Universal Pictures.
