The short Carta a mi Madre para mi Hijo shot by Alana Mejía González premiered at the Venice Film Festival Giornate degli Autori 2022. Directed by Carla Simón through Miu Miu Women’s Tales, this film celebrates the promise of a new beginning by crossing eras, generations and media, from the epistolary genre to flamenco, while investigating vanity and femininity in the 21st century.
