We are delighted to learn that the film Creatura, shot by cinematographer Alana Mejía González, won 6 prizes at the XVI Premis Gaudí awards, including Best Film, Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Revelation Interpretation for Clàudia Malagelada, Best Supporting Actor for Alex Brendemühl, Best Supporting Actress for Clara Segura. The narrative revolves around Mila’s exploration of her past, as she revisits her childhood and adolescence to find harmony with her body. The movie is directed by Elena Martín Gimeno, produced by Vilaüt Films, Lastor Media, Avalon, and Elastica Films. Starring Mila Borràs, Oriol Pla, Alex Brendemühl, Clàudia Malagelada and Clara Segura.
The film has won the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film at the 2023 Directors’ Fortnight.
