Camarades, brought to the screen through the lens of cinematographer Céline Bozon, AFC, is set to make its world premiere in the French Competition at Series Mania Festival (March 20–27, 2026). Helmed by Dominique Baumard and Benjamin Charbit and produced by AGAT Films & Cie / Ex Nihilo alongside Sunday Afternoon, the series dives into the upheaval of May 1968, when France was shaken by widespread student protests. In response, the government launched an experimental university in an effort to channel the movement, giving rise to the singular experience of Vincennes, where bold ideas and utopian visions redefined the boundaries of academic life.
