We are delighted to announce that the movie Some Rain Must Fall, shot by the talented cinematographer Constanze Schmitt, has won the award for Best Cinematography in an International Narrative Feature at the 2024 Tribeca Festival. The jury praised Constanze for “the daring use of color and the creation of searing visual tension as a cinematic reinforcement of suffering.” Directed by Qiu Yang and produced by Wild Grass Films, Why Not Productions, and Good Chaos, the feature film stars Yu Aier, Di Shike, Wei Yibo, Xu Tianyi, and Gu Tingxiu.
