We’re thrilled to welcome our newest team member, Duarte Domingos, who joins the roster of Operandi Mgmt as director of photography.
Duarte was born in the 80’s and was immersed in the culture and scenic beauty of southern Portugal from a young age. Inspired by life’s joys and the ever-present sea breeze, Duarte was captivated by images, compelling him to bring them to life through motion
In 2008, Duarte pursued his passion for cinema by studying at the ETIC School in Lisbon. Since then, he has refined his skills as a director of photography by collaborating with numerous directors and production companies.
He worked mostly on commercials and had the chance to work with esteemed directors such as Tiago Ribeiro or Filipe Penajóia.
Recently, Duarte collaborated with film director Paul Carneiro on the documentary film Savanna And The Mountain, which has been selected for the 2024 Cannes Festival in the Directors’ Fortnight Category.
