Don’t miss the out-of-competition avant-première screening of Les Derniers Jours de Charles Baudelaire, shot by cinematographer Gérald Acourt Gérald Acourt. Directed by Arielle Dombasle and produced by Brain Productions, the film explores the final chapter of Charles Baudelaire’s life, revisiting the last days of the poet of Les Fleurs du Mal as illness, exile and fading lucidity reshape the world around him. The screening will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM as part of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. The film will be presented in the presence of the artistic team and cast, followed by a discussion moderated by Genie Godula, journalist at France 24.
