We are happy to announce that the short film Le Reste N’a Pas D’Importance, with striking cinematography by Hadrien Vedel, has been selected for the international competition at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal. Directed by Romain Dumont and produced by Ad Vitam Court and C Kan Kon Va Ou, the film tells the story of Cheun, a beloved local figure who, at the Myrha and Clignancourt intersection, directs traffic with style—blending breakdance moves, warm smiles for late schoolchildren, personalized greetings, and even life-coaching advice. His routine blends the extraordinary with the everyday, but one day, it’s abruptly interrupted as the usual monotony returns to spoil his unique performance. The film features Didier Galantine, Victor Bonnel, Rémy Breteau, Aurélien Grellier-Beker, Elizabeth Mazev, and Arnaud Boufassa.
