We’re delighted to announce that the feature film Le Cri Des Gardes, with a unique visual signature crafted by cinematographer Eric Gautier, AFC, has been officially selected for the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, running from today until September 14, 2025. Directed by Claire Denis and produced by Vixens and Curiosa Films, the film unfolds on a West African construction site, where site manager Horn and young engineer Cal live behind the compound gates. When Horn’s new wife, Leone, arrives, a mysterious figure named Alboury appears, demanding the return of his brother’s body. As night falls, Leone becomes the witness to a tense and haunting confrontation. The film stars Isaach de Bankolé, Matt Dillon, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Tom Blyth.
