We are excited to announce that the short film Gazoline has won the 2024 Grand Prix «Cognac» for Best Male Performance at the Polar Festival of Cognac yesterday. Jean-Michel Poulichot served as the cinematographer, meticulously capturing its striking visuals. Directed by Baptiste Charlier and produced by Picseyes and F Comme Film, Gazoline follows the story of Léon, a young man who works and lives in a scrapyard. He finds solace in observing bird migrations, using them as a way to calm his inner restlessness. However, during one fateful summer, the absence of birds in the sky threatens to disturb his fragile sense of peace. The film stars Théo Cholbi, Marie-Christine Orry, and Luc-Antoine Choquet in the lead roles.
