We are excited to share that the film Hanami with its stunning set designs crafted by art director Mathé, ADC, has won two prestigious awards at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. Denise Fernandes was honored with the Best Emerging Director award in the Cineasti del Presente category, while Hanami won a Special Mention in the First Feature competition. Produced by Alina Film, O Som e a Fúria, and RSI Radiotelevisione Svizzera, the film unfolds on a secluded volcanic island, where everyone dreams of escaping, but young Nana learns the true significance of staying. The talented cast features Sanaya Andrade, Daílma Mendes, Alice Da Luz, Nha Nha Rodrigues, and Yuta Nakano.
