La Maison du vent, lensed by cinematographer Eva Sehet, AFC, has been awarded the Orizzonti Special Jury Prize at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. A wonderful recognition for the film, congratulations to Eva Sehet and the entire team behind the project! Directed by Auguste Bernard Kouemo Yanghu, the film centres on Josette, an elderly woman living in Yaoundé while her children build their lives abroad. Still hoping for their return, she gradually begins to reconsider her ideas of family and belonging when an unexpected friendship develops with a younger woman from her neighbourhood. Starring Babetida Sadjo, Tatiana Rojo, Adrien Jolivet and Josette Kwanya.
