We are thrilled to announce that the feature film Barbès, Little Algérie, with the beautifully crafted sets designed by the production designer Karim Lagati, has been selected for the 2024 Festival du Film Francophone d’Angoulême. Directed by Hassan Guerrar and produced by East Films, 24 25 Films, and Chelifilms, the film tells the story of Malek, a single man who has just moved to Montmartre. He soon welcomes his nephew Ryiad, newly arrived from Algeria. Together, they explore Barbès, despite the ongoing health crisis.The film stars Sofiane Zermani, Khalil Gharbia, Khaled Benaissa, and Adila Bendimerad.
