We are very pleased to welcome the director of photography Patrick Ghiringhelli in our agency.
Nominated in 2023 for the César of the Best Photo, he is the cinematographer of La nuit du 12 by Dominik Moll. The movie won 7 Césars, including Best Film and Best Adaptation. He shot several projects of the director Dominik Moll including the series Eden for Arte and the feature film Seules les bêtes.
In 2022 Patrick shot two movies by Cédric Kahn: Le Procès Goldman, opening film of the Directors’ Fortnight 2023, and Making Of.
This is the 6th time that a film Patrick shot is screened at Cannes, whether in competition or out of competition.
At the beginning of his career, he met the director Damien Odoul, and worked with him notably for En Attendant le Déluge, selected at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes in 2004.
He shot the images of the documentary Penumbra by Eduardo Villanueva, which received the award for Best Photography at the Gran Fiesta De Cine Mexicano in 2013.
Patrick filmed several movies by director Tony Gatlif including Geronimo and Djam.
He also collaborated on many films by artist Anri Sala like 1395 Days Without Red.
