The series L’Été 36, shot by director of photography Virginie Saint-Martin, SBC, will have its world premiere in the French Competition section of the Series Mania Festival, taking place from March 20 to 27, 2026. Directed by Frédéric Garson and produced by Quad Drama, the story is set in Nice in the summer of 1936, when newly introduced paid holidays bring working class families to the glittering Riviera, unsettling the established elite; amid this social upheaval, four women from very different backgrounds find themselves entangled in a murder at the luxurious Hotel Riviera, a crime that will forever alter their destinies.
