L’Été 36, with cinematography by Virginie Saint-Martin, SBC, has won the Prix du public Télé-Loisirs de la meilleure série at the 2026 Festival de la Fiction de La Rochelle. The series is directed by Frédéric Garson and produced by Quad Drama. Set in Nice during the summer of 1936, the series unfolds as the arrival of workers enjoying their first paid holidays disrupts the privileged world of the French Riviera. Against a backdrop of social tensions, four women from different backgrounds find their lives intertwined when a murder takes place at the luxurious Riviera Hotel. The crime threatens to unravel their family relationships, romances and professional lives. Starring Julie de Bona, Sofia Essaïdi, Nolwenn Leroy, Constance Gay and Miou-Miou.
