The feature film Le Cri des Gardes, brought to life through the refined visual approach of cinematographer Eric Gautier, AFC is out today in theaters across France. Directed by Claire Denis and produced by Vixens and Curiosa Films, the film unfolds on a West African construction site where site manager Horn and young engineer Cal live behind the compound gates. The fragile balance shifts with the arrival of Horn’s new wife Leone and is further unsettled when a man named Alboury appears, demanding his brother’s dead body. As night falls, Leone becomes the witness to a tense and haunting confrontation. The film stars Isaach de Bankolé, Matt Dillon, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Tom Blyth.
