We’re excited to announce that the TV series The Deal, featuring cinematography by Adrien Bertolle, has been selected for the 2025 International Competition at Series Mania! Directed by Jean-Stéphane Bron and produced by Bande à Part Films, Les Films Pelléas, and Gaumont Television, the series is set in Geneva in April 2015 during USA-Iran nuclear negociations. The Deal follows Alexandra Weiss, head of the Swiss diplomatic mission, as she navigates high-stakes discussions that grow even more complicated when her former lover, Payam Sanjabi, an Iranian engineer in danger, unexpectedly returns. Starring Veerle Baetens, Juliet Stevenson, Arash Marandi, Anthony Azizi, and Fenella Woolgar.
