Following its Grand Prix win at FIDMarseille, Todo Es Cárcel, lensed by cinematographer Jimmy Gimferrer, has been selected for the Documentary Competition at the 47th Manaki Brothers International Cinematographers’ Film Festival. Directed by Eloy Enciso Cachafeiro, the film explores the lingering traces of Spain’s Francoist repression through Elsa, a photographer documenting places marked by this history while researching the correspondence of two lovers separated during the final days of the Spanish Civil War.
