Caught By The Tides, shot by the cinematographers Eric Gautier, AFC, and Yu Lik-Wai, has been selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in 2024. Directed by Jia Zhang-Ke and produced by Xtream Pictures, the film portrays a love story between Qiao Qiao and Guao Bin, set in China from the early 2000s to the present day. When Guao Bin abruptly leaves to seek his fortune in another province, Qiao Qiao sets out to find him. Starring Zhao Tao as the lead actress.
