Camarades, with production design by Mathé, ADC, will be available on ARTE from September 16. Produced by Agat Films, Sunday Afternoon and ARTE France, and directed by Dominique Baumard and Benjamin Charbit, the series is set in the aftermath of May ’68, when the experimental University of Vincennes becomes a centre of political and intellectual upheaval. At the heart of the story is Claudine, who infiltrates a Maoist group on behalf of the French intelligence services and finds herself caught between radical ideas, activism and shifting loyalties. Starring Manon Kneusé, Pierre-François Garel, Lulja Comar, Grégory Gadebois and Micha Lescot.
