House of the Wind, beautifully lensed by cinematographer Eva Sehet, AFC, has been selected for the Orizzonti Competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. Directed by Bernard Auguste Kouemo Yanghu and produced by La Mansarde Cinéma and Horizons d’Afrique, the film centres on 75-year-old Josette, living alone in Yaoundé while her children build their lives abroad. An unexpected bond with a younger neighbour gradually transforms her daily life and opens a new perspective on family, solitude and companionship. Starring Babetida Sadjo, Tatiana Rojo, Adrien Jolivet and Josette Kwanya.
