We are very pleased to welcome director of photography Eric Gautier, AFC, to our agency.
Eric was Arnaud Desplechin‘s cinematographer on his first feature, La Vie Des Morts, and worked with him on films such as Un Conte De Noël and Esther Kahn.
He shot the movies La Vie Des Morts by Arnaud Desplechin, then Albert Souffre directed by his mentor Bruno Nuytten. He also works on commercials for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Mercedes Benz, Giorgio Armani, YSL and Marc Jacobs.
At the same time, he signed images for films such as Sean Penn‘s Into The Wild, which won many awards including the EMA Award for Feature Film at Environmental Media Awards and Best Technical Achievement at Lumière Awards.
Éric won the 2018 Silver Camera 300 at Manaki Brothers Film Festival for his work on Jia Zhangke‘s Ash is Purest White.
He worked on Claire Denis‘ feature film Stars At Noon, which won the Grand Prize at Cannes Film Festival 2022. More recently, he shot images for Nicolas Boukhrief‘s film Un Enfant Pas Comme Les Autres (currently in production).
